A garden path lies ahead,
Lined with rows of pretty flowers.
Did you walk down, stopping occasionally to smell the flowers?
Or did you turn, and walk down another path?

Did you find a sweet-smelling flower?
Did you pick it up?
Did you even dare pick it up?
Watch out! Some have thorns!

Did the flower you pick wilt?
Or did you get hurt by the thorns?
Was the flower the right one?
Or did you realise it didn't seem to smell sweet anymore?

Perhaps you liked many of the flowers.
So many that you wanna take them all.
Picking one seems hard.
But you can't hold so many either.

The path represents your life and where you stand now.
The flowers could mean anything important to you.
Friendship. Love. The people around you. Your goal in life.
It all lies in what you do, and how you look at it.
